Art: Emily Spanks Banjo

At long last...

With Emily's kind permission, I am proud to present the artwork I made as a prize for her, for winning my 2011 Banjo's Birthday Competition.

The promised prize was a custom artwork of the winner's choice; pretty much anything they wanted and that I could create. Emily somewhat surprised me by requesting an artwork of her spanking me... pants down and over her knee in front of my computer desk, for being so slack in running the competition and my site!!!

Both flattered and genuinely nervous, I wanted to really make this piece live up to her expectations, and worked with her through several drafts of both the customized 'Emily' model seen in the piece, and of the art piece itself.

And here it is:

I really wanted to make it a depiction of how she imagined this scenario might look in real life, while adhering to Emily's guidelines: I'm still semi-clothed - pants pulled down - to show that this isn't a sexual spanking but a punishment one. The hairbrush is cracking down very hard, too, as the spanking moves past the point of real tears and heartfelt apologies. Our Heroic Spanker is wearing a satisfied smirk, pleased to be delivering Justice upon this poor lazy artist! And for Banjo's part... a hard lesson is being learned!

On finally completing and sending it, I was thrilled that Emily liked her gift so much! However, you might be thinking "Wait, the competition was in October! That was four months ago!" Yes, I know, and so did Emily. Having already scolded me once for the competition results delay, I was informed that punishment was in order for procrastinating and keeping both her and my readers from seeing her artwork. A second piece was demanded, and this one was to be special: an aftermath picture of me in the corner, post-spanking from Emily, with my bottom blazing and crying face red with shame... and sucking my thumb like a little boy.

I have to say, making and posting this second picture was pretty embarrassing... not just because I knew why I was having to make and show it, but because it's one thing to render myself being spanked, but another to create a picture of myself in such a humiliating pose!

There's something very humbling about the idea of being spanked so soundly it reverts one to the mindset of a sobbing, thumb-sucking little boy! I am happy to report that Emily gave her stamp of approval to my 'punishment assignment' piece as well, though.

Thanks again to all who entered the competition, and a special thanks to Emily... for her friendship, inspiration and for not letting me get away with my bad habits and procrastination; I'm so very glad you liked the final artworks you waited so long for.

I really enjoyed all the entries I received for my 'Banjo's 2011 Birthday Spanking Competion'. While there weren't a lot of entries, those I got were all very creative and lots of fun! With their creators' kind permission, I've posted some of my favourites below:

Congratulations to Emily, winner of my 'Banjo's 2011 Birthday Spanking' competition!

A big thank-you to all who took the time to send in an entry; I appreciated and enjoyed every single one.

With Emily's permission, I have posted her entry below. As I said, I enjoyed every contribution I was sent, however Emily's "extra mile" of effort and evil creativity is what made her the winner.

As for her requested prize (a custom artwork by me)? Well, I received an additional 'gift' from Emily the other day on notifying her of her win... an unexpected (but admittedly well-deserved) ear-burning scolding and telling-off for being so lapse in my blog updates of late!

Thus, she has told me that her prize should be an artwork made to her specifications... depicting me receiving a severe punishment spanking from her! Gulp!!! She made it clear that this was not to be a "sexy" spanking... no, this was a punishment for my procrastination and laziness!

Emily also wanted to make it clear that this 'virtual' spanking was for letting you all down and not posting more often. She's right, of course. While I genuinely appreciate all my fans and friends here who post comments, send emails, and support what I do, I don't always show that appreciation by keeping in touch or posting updates. For that, I'm sorry.

Though if Emily had her way, I'd be much more sorry, it seems!

Birthday 2011: Quick Update

Just a note to those who've written to me asking about the Birthday Contest deadline extension... all entries MUST be in by November 25th!

Don't forget, the prize is a custom artwork by me, on just about any spanking theme you can think of (and I can actually create!).

I've had a few really fun entries, and will announce the winner on the 26th. Thanks for everyone who has sent an entry and to everyone who's been so supportive recently when I was taken ill.

Birthday 2011: Happy Birthday to Me!

Yes, today is Banjo's birthday!

To celebrate, I've posted a brand new, never-before-seen artwork "Birthday Suit Spanking" that I hope you enjoy, with musings on the whole 'birthday spanking' Trope, and would love to hear your thoughts on that tradition.

However, since I (sadly) won't be getting a birthday spanking for real this year, I've also decided to have a bit of fun with this blog, too, by running a little... well, you might call it a "competition".

The idea is simple: Banjo gets a birthday spanking!

You can write a short story (don't worry, I'm not talking fifteen pages here... maybe a page or two is all), you can make an artwork, personal audio message (if you're female, of course!) or even caption a picture ("Starstruck-style"). It can be a fictional character giving the spanking, a real 'celebrity' or even 'yourself' (again, if you're female! ).

The Rules:

• Email me your 'entry' before the end of October.
• Entries must be in the F/M spanking genre (i.e. no M/M, sorry!)
• If you want to know anything specific (i.e. "what's Banjo's eye colour? How old will you be?") just ask!
• When emailing an entry, please note if it is "public" or "private"; anything marked "private" will be only seen by me and nobody else, while anything "public" I will assume is okay to repost on this blog if I decide to do so.
• My decision on the winner is final, and will be based solely on which entry I personally enjoy the most; this isn't a test of artistic or writing skill, so nobody should feel they can't enter for "lack of ability".
• The prize is a custom-made, one or two character artwork by me. Yes, this is your chance to get a custom artwork from Banjo! This prize will be made after the contest is over, following discussion with the winner, and will be "delivered" by the end of November, barring unforseen circumstances. However, I reserve the right to decide if a request is "possible" within my artistic and technical abilities (i.e. specific likenesses are not possible, so no "me being spanked by my cousin Sarah... here's photos of us") but I will do my very best to accommodate the winner's request! And yes, if I really really love the winning entry, I may even allow "heresy" (non-F/M) art to be requested as your prize!!!

Despite having a "winner" who will receive a prize I hope they enjoy, this "competition" is really just designed to be a bit of fun; a different way to celebrate my birthday (and my blog opening), and to encourage more interaction with you, the site members and visitors.

I really want this to be enjoyable for everyone involved... so please don't worry or take offense if you enter and don't "win". I appreciate all of you - and your feedback and friendships - so much!
