Merry Christmas, everyone!
Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas (and Happy Holidays to those who don't celebrate it).
I hope you are all doing okay and keeping safe this season. Things have been a bit rough with me lately, but I am okay and pushing on, and hope to have some new art posted soon; I actually have a couple of pieces almost ready to post however time got away from me to get them up for Christmas. Sorry!
Again, best wishes and take care all! Thanks for your continued support, prayers, kind words, donations and fun discussions. It really means the world to me to have friends like you folks out there, even halfway around the world lik so many of you are. Always know how much I value and love ya all, even when I'm shoddily absent. :)
Cheers,
Banjo

The current crisis
Just wanted to check in again and say hi to everyone, and let you all know I'm still alive!
The current coronavirus crisis is starting to severely impact Australia (yay for complacent and idiotic leadership) as it has most of the world, and I am currently in self-isolation since I care for an elderly relative a risk. The only silver lining is more time at home and at the computer, so just maybe a chance to catch up on posting some fun stuff to keep everyone's spirits up as we all ride through these trying times together.
After much consideration, and due to facing very real financial limitations as things shut down here, I have finally started a "Ko-fi" donation page, which is liked to on the sidebar now. I aim to get a Patreon up and running eventually too, but that takes much longer due to tax laws, etc. Please only give what you can afford, as I know times are tough for all of us right now. Still, who knows? Maybe one day I'll make enough on donations to do what I do full time instead of working a vanilla job? LOL!
In any case, please keep safe, stay home if you can, and keep upholding each other in our thoughts and prayers. I never thought I'd see something like this in my lifetime, it seems just the other day I was starting up my own blog or even posting on Yahoo (now gone, too). It's been a fun 15 years, and here's hoping we all share many more in times to come.
Cheers,
Banjo

Happy New Year (and safe and well)
Happy New Year, everyone! :)
I also wanted to post just to let everyone know that I'm alright. If you've seen on the news about the terrible fires here in Australia, I am thankful to be far enough away from any of them to be safe (aside from the smoke in the air that has come this far, even!). Please keep my fellow Aussies in your thoughts and prayers, though; the scale of this disaster is pretty massive and tragic.

Update from Banjo
Thanks to everyone for your support, thoughts, prayers and messages this past month or so during a very difficult time. Pixie, my dog, passed away a couple of weeks ago. She was my darling baby girl, and even though sixteen is a very good run for a dog, losing her was one of the hardest days of my life. I've had her almost as long as I've been doing my "spanko thing" online, so losing her has felt like the end of an era in more ways than one.
On the positive, I (unexpectedly) have a new dog (Pepper) as of Easter. She is keeping me *very* busy right now, but she's a beautiful, fun-loving puppy.
Sorry for the "radio silence" recently (both on my blog and on other forums I visit semi-regularly), but I was in no state to go online or do anything "fun" for awhile. I am hoping to get back to "work" (i.e. spanky fun stuff like games, art, writing) in the next week or so, but wanted to post this so people didn't think I'd fallen off the world... again! :(
Thanks again to everyone. So many wonderful people have been so supportive, especially since 2019 has not been what I'd call a "good year" so far (did I mention I had a terrible flu a week ago, too?). On the upside, my post-surgery discomfort/issues seem to be improving greatly at last!
All the best, folks, and hope to be back posting stuff soon.
Cheers,
Banjo

Update on my progress
Sorry for the lack of promised posts. I am still recovering, but my main concern right now is caring for my beloved dog, who is very sick right now. Please uphold her ("Pixie", a Jack Russell/terrier cross) in your thoughts and prayers. She is quite old, but means the world to me. :(

Home and recovering from surgery
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and support. I am home from hospital and have been recovering for the past week or so, and feeling a lot better. It's a fairly long road, but a smooth one hopefully! :)

Going into hospital today
Just a quick post - I know it's been a long time! - to let everyone know the reason for my long silence has been due to ill health, sadly. Today I go into hospital for surgery, and I am hoping and praying for a positive result that will give me a new lease of life and let me resume blogging, doing fun stuff and living well!
I don't talk about my faith here really; some of you know that I'm a Christian, though many more don't. This has been a trying time for me, but with God's help and the support, prayers and love of my family, friends and all you wonderful people I've met online from around the world, I hope to get through this and be even back posting new stuff soon. No matter your own beliefs, I ask you please uphold me in your prayers or positive thoughts these next couple of days.
I've said many times that I do this only because I want to make folks happy and give them enjoyment with my art, stories, games and whatever. There is too much negative, dark, miserable focus in this world, increasingly more so IMO, so even with a silly little blog like this I wanted to give people a smile, a tingle and make them feel good about being who we are: spankos!
All the best, folks! See you on the other side...;)
Cheers,
Banjo

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, everyone!
Yes, I'm still alive, though health has fluctuated in the last few months, which is why I haven't posted until now.
I did have my 40th birthday in October, which had me thinking back on over 25 of those as a conscious spanko... as well as all the years I've spent online with the wonderful folks I've met over the years, sharing art and stories and videos and friendships. From Excite, MSN and Yahoo to this blog... it's been one heck of a fun journey! Thanks to all who've shared it with me.
Especially at this time, I've been thinking back on the 15 years or so I've been creating my own art and stories and posting them publicly, and the time I spent running my first-ever project "Starstruck Spanking": an old Yahoo Group that focused on discussing "spankings from celebrities" (rather than the more common "spanking OF celebrities"!). I learned how to create "fakes" that were always fun to work on, as well as the art of photo captioning, but the highlight was writing stories and reading stories by other members there. People like Colin, David, Joerg and Pukeboy made that time such fun. In fact, I dug out Pukeboy's epic "The Spanking Zone" stories the other days, and thought it might be nice to repost them here on this blog; I have since lost touch with Pukeboy himself, but his stories were amazing fun and I know he'd like new people to get a chance to read them.
In keeping with the subject of celebrity spankings, and the New Year celebration and nostalgia, I decided to put together a little project for fun, and to open this year's blogging with... see next post!

Posting Again
Without getting into too much detail, I fell quite ill shortly after posting my last artwork here. It's been tough; I've been sick on and off for the past few months, sometimes just minor, sometimes pretty debilitated, and I've not been able to work as much as I used to, too. I wouldn't mention this at all if not for a comment a while back that viewers here didn't know the exact reason why my posting was quite sporadic at times. So, in the interest of disclosure, now you know a bit more.
Things have been looking brighter of late, but I'm still not 100% and still not back to work full-time (making money short as well), but I have used some of the time stuck at home to dust off some old artworks in need of just minor polishing touches to post, as well as tinkering with some new pieces.
I hope those of you still around enjoy the posts that will be coming up. I've got about three finished pieces to post, and another half-dozen that I'd consider "almost finished" that I'd love to try and get done and posted. I genuinely miss posting and chatting and sharing with you all, either here or on other (mostly now long-gone) spanking sites/forums, so I look forward to any feedback and comments you might have.
In addition to this art, I have been working on a spanky-related project for just under a year now (I mentioned this at the start of my previous post, somewhat cryptically): a "mod" of a fairly well-known and very fun "RPG" spanking video game named "SpanQuest", by a very talented gentleman named Bagool. With his kind permission, I've been allowed to greatly expand this game, both with cosmetic overhauls and with lots of new content. I will be posting my enhanced version of his game - called "SpanQuest DX" here (and cross-posted to Anime OTK, where although I don't post much, the original SpanQuest originated). I know not all my viewers here are "gamers", but I really encourage everyone to give this fun and entertaining game a try... it's very much an "adventure" game in the traditional sense, more about playing a story than solving puzzles and certainly not requiring any "twitch" gamer skills... you don't need to be a master of Dark Souls or anything to play it! As I said, this will be posted soon, and I *very* much need people to test the initial version for bugs and problems. I'll reiterate it at the time, but a huge thanks to Bagool for giving permission to edit and expand his game!
I also have a couple of spanking stories I've been working on, if people are interested in those? My stories seem to get less feedback here than my art, which is fine, but please let me know if you'd like to read more of my fiction efforts. I once considered publishing them as ebooks, but I wouldn't know where to even start finding a publisher for kinky stuff like that!
Finally, I've also been considering starting a Patreon, given my current situation, the fact everyone and his dog has one, and that I've been doing this for around fifteen years and my dreams of a "membership site" never came true... but I don't know a lot about that donation platform, so am not sure how or if that might happen (anyone with experience with Patreon, I'd love to hear from you). I mainly mention this though to make it know that, rest assured, my spanking art will always be posted here for free as it has been. Anything based on optional donations would only be silly extras (letting people pick a future art subject, for example) or focused on a specific, non-art software projects I've been developing. I really imagine any possible Patreon to just be a place for grateful viewers to say "thanks" in a tangible way, purely optional and at any level they wish.
Geez, I've really been doing this for fifteen years?! Going to be the big 4-0 next week... where does the time go? :(

Remember Me...?
Hiya, folks!
No long explanations, excuses, promises or statements of intent... but I'm back.
It's been a hectic and trying two years since I was last active online on this blog or indeed anywhere in the spanking community, but circumstances have made me decide to attempt a return (again!).
I've got a fair bit of unpublished, unfinished art I'd love to complete and polish, as well as a few other things, so if you're still around and willing to comment, I'm looking forward to posting and sharing with you all once more.
It's been a long time, so I know many may have moved on as is the nature of the internet, but for those of you still around from the "old days", or those who have maybe stumbled across this blog or my art elsewhere, I hope you stick around. I really want to rekindle this blog and the fun little community that once existed here, but I can only do so with all your help and support. After all, if nobody is commenting than I don't know if anyone is even reading or viewing... and I might as well keep this stuff to myself. As always, the real joy of making art, stories or anything else for me is knowing others relate and enjoy it too. So, you keep watching (and commenting) and I'll keep posting!
Sorry to have been gone so long. I really have missed this place and so many of you I've met through my art (whether via this blog, or previously from other sites like Yahoo Groups or MSN). The internet has changed a lot since I first got online, with many turning to social media like Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr to stay in touch with a few words or a single picture rather than more traditional, thought-out longer postings like these. I'm an old-fashioned guy, though, so I'll be sticking with what I know and love. I hope you'll stick with me though, as it's been a while!
None of us know how long we have in this life, so here's to making the best of what we have for however long we have.
I hope 2017 is a good one for everyone, and a new start for this blog community, too.
Cheers,
Banjo

Legacy
I promised no big "I'm back (again)" posts, just more cool new stuff and a return to the fun of old, but I just had to leave this brief note, and give a place for anyone wanting to post comments unrelated to the new material coming up.
The internet - indeed the world - is not the same place as it was when I first got online. I look around and see everything online becoming ad-covered, revenue-targeted and corporate-focused. More and more spankos are even monetizing their hobbies. When Geocities shut down a few years back, it took a huge part of the "old" web with it. Last month, a *huge* and old (vanilla) TV review community was shuttered because "it didn't make money". For all the good the internet brings us, the biggest negative to me is how so much can be lost in the blink of an eye. If Google shut down Blogger tomorrow without warning, how much would be lost forever?
In that spirit, I thought about my own time online, particularly since "de-lurking" and beginning posting my amateur spanking artworks. It got me thinking about all the other spanking artists and writers and bloggers and friends I've known and admired in that time, and how many are now gone; either passed away, disappeared, or just moved on with their lives in another way. Even years after the sites and communities that spawned them are gone, many of us still enjoy the awesome artworks of people like Ann Madison, Sassy Bottoms, Jay Em, Paul Michael Davies, Whizzer Black, Eric Stanton, Bobby Cooper, EndArt, George Churchward, UASketcher, Spao, Curtis, Ichizo Ito, and others no longer around.
Which is the main reason I'm renewing this blog at my involvement in the spanking community online. Once, I had ideas of making a "real" website. Now I think I'm happy just getting my stuff out there and knowing others are enjoying it. It may seem odd, but honestly, of everything I've ever done and accomplished in my 30+ years of life, private and professional, one of the things I'm most proud of is the connections I've made through my art, stories and groups/blogs/sites.
When I'm long gone, as we all will be one day, I would be very happy to think that my "legacy" will be that some people in the future still have my work alongside those amazing and talented folks I mentioned above in people's "naughty stuff" folders on their computers, or are still discovering online, and thinking "yeah, that old Banjo guy's stuff was cool".
Alright, then... time for the fun stuff! New art coming up... hope you all like it!

A Note For Newcomers
![]() |
Firstly, I personally tend to think of this site as a "website" more than a blog, meaning I expect (or rather, hope) new visitors will go back and read older posts and view older artwork posted here. A lot of people use Blogger as a "journal", which means old posts are pretty much just interesting backstory but nowhere near as important as the latest (current) post.
Not so at Banjo's BBS! Here, you might find your favourite artwork is buried in a post from a year ago. The latest posts are just that, the latest. Everything prior - barring a few status update type posts - are as hot (or not, depending on tastes!) as they were when first posted!

Happy Easter
Happy Easter, everyone!
Hope you all had a great weekend, and that cute Easter Bunny left you lots of yummy chocolate eggs!
But don't eat too much chocolatey goodness in one go, naughty boys and girls, or the Easter Bunny will have to pay you a second visit... to spank you!

Reports of my demise... you know the rest...
Yeah, I know. It's been a long road... a LOT longer than expected. I won't go into great details suffice to say I'm tentatively "back" as of this week. I was hoping that would be the case after Christmas, but with sick family recovering (so thankfully) yet needing care, I've had to prioritize looking after then until they could cope better by themselves.
Still, is it any surprise that it was an old female friend sending me a 'scolding' email that finally brought me back?
Thus, this coming weekend, there will be several new posts going up, including hopefully a (much-delayed) book review, some art (new and 'flashback') and a couple of features I hope folks find fun (or at least, interesting). I've even been working on a story I'm thinking of posting, though I'm a bit nervous that it might be too 'mean' for some folks' tastes!
As to the future of this blog... I had a bunch of content almost ready to go before everything hit the fan late last year, so my hope is that I can at least get those posts and pieces finished up and out for you to enjoy.
I will likely space them out a day or so apart, to give people time to comment (and of course notice there are actually new posts again!), but yeah... new stuff is on the way. About time, eh?
I hope the spanko and blogging worlds have been well since I've been offline (I've not only been absent from my blog, but from the whole frakin' blogsphere!), and hope all my friends and readers are doing well too.
I'd also like to thank my long-time close online friends who've given me space and time to sort things out. As much as I've missed you, I really needed that break... though I look forward to hopefully resuming correspondence, friendship and - of course - this blog, for 2013.
I've a lot to catch up on, and a lot to comment on too. For everyone who's stuck around... I hope this will be fun again for both of us!
Here's to 2013 being a better year, and a much more spanky one, too!
Cheers,
Banjo

A Christmas Message
Christmas again? It comes around so fast, it seems.
It's been a pretty hectic and unpleasant year for me in the latter half, both personally and for this blog; just when I'd think things were sorted out and going okay, something else would strike.
However, recent events have reminded me of the proper perspective. I very nearly lost someone very close in my family, and it's been a nightmare few weeks. I won't concern you with details, but suffice to say that their recovery has been nothing short of miraculous; when doctors tell you that "death is a best-case scenario", hope is in short supply. I don't talk about my faith here, because that's really a private thing for me and not a topic for this blog, but the fact that my family member not only recovered but recovered to about 90% of how they were (from basically "gone") is an incredible and wonderful gift no matter what you personally believe, divine intervention, the experimental medicines given, or something else entirely. I don't know how much longer I'll have them, and the road is still a long one, but I am grateful for any extra time we have.
Still, if the recent 'Not-End of the World' has shown us anything, it's that none of us know how long we have each other. Whether the cataclysmic end of all life on this planet or a sudden and unexpected illness or accident to someone we care for or even ourselves, we need to treasure every moment we have with those we love.
But for today, enjoy the holiday celebrations, but make sure you take the time to tell those you love how you feel. Rather than stress about presents or dinners, argue about long-past family issues or other trivial things, spend time with them. Love them. Nothing lasts forever.
Personally, I wanted to take the time to say thank you to my readers and especially my long-time fans and friends for your thoughts, prayers and support in this difficult time. You know who you are (and how slack I often am at staying in touch and juggling "real-life") but you're all so special and appreciated by me. I was thinking the other day of those old friends long gone, either passed away or simply vanished into the mists of the internet, and I again think of how we should enjoy each others' friendship while we can.
I am officially "back in action" as of today, despite the holiday chaos, and look forward to - I hope - finally getting back to the dozen half-written posts I began in my attempted reboot of this blog a month or so ago (trust me, they're all saved and coming!). Thanks to those who've stayed with me and waited patiently; I hope I can make 2013 a better year for this blog and its content than 2012.
I hope you all have a fantastic holiday season, however you celebrate. And remember to behave yourselves, fellow brats... or be on the lookout for those who aren't, if you're the keeper of the household 'Naughty or Nice' list yourself!
Merry Christmas!
Cheers,
Banjo

Brief Note
I just wanted to post a message to say that due to personal family reasons I may not be around for a bit.
I wanted to post this so that folks didn't think I was abandoning my blog again, and most of all as a way to reach out to all my closer friends I email and communicate with privately too... I'm just not in a place to be able to contact everyone individually right now so apologies for this impersonal "blanket" message; you know who you are, and I will be in touch. Your friendship means a lot to me.
As to the blog, I've loved being "back" this past week and getting feedback again. I already set a week's worth of posts up to automatically post here on-schedule, so you may still see new stuff, and I hope you enjoy. Please continue to comment on old and new posts. Please continue to have fun here. I'd hate to dampen any enthusiasm or sense of enjoyment here, I just wanted to tell you why I may not be replying to everything right now.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed me back so warmly and kindly on my return, I feel bad about this but I have to prioritize. Yet you - my friends online, my blog readers, those I've met recently and those I've known for many years - are all very special parts of my life, and something I try to never take for granted.
I will be back.

Reboot Celebration (Bottom)Bash!
Yes, it's true! I'm back!
Sure, I missed my blog's one-year birthday (that was September 5th!). Sure, I missed my OWN birthday (that was October 2nd!). But better late than never, right?
(famous last words of the nervous young man coming home past curfew?)
It was a bumpy road, and I was nervous even as I published yesterday's post, that Blogger might decide "yeah, delete that blog again for having the audacity to post!". But it's still here, touch paddle-wood, and thus so am I.
I needed the break, after events in my "real life" and all the stress of Google/Blogger's deletions. I needed to refresh and reassess things. One of the things I reassessed was how much I missed this blog and all your comments. So, if you can hang around, if you can keep on commenting and letting me know you're out there and this isn't for nothing, I'll keep on blogging with what you want to see, read and enjoy. As I've always said, I do this for you.
For missing those milestone dates above, and for being away so long with so little explanation, I can only apologize. Hopefully, bringing this blog back and finally making good on my promises of not just new art, but new fun original content of other sorts as well.
I made the artwork below as a very special gift for a good friend a while back (which might explain the level of self-inflicted severity! *blush*), so I hope they won't mind me sharing it here in this form, but it feels like a fitting statement on my being gone for so long.
Also, this piece does kind of look like how imagine the aftermath of a "Celebration Bottom-Bash" as well. All about the celebration (and celebrators), no regard for the bottom being "bashed"? Or maybe just the result of a celebration like this?
In all seriousness, I'm genuinely touched and honored to know that there are still folks out there who want to see my art and read my ramblings. The idea of having "fans" still seems odd to me after all these years.
Anyway, let this week's "rebirth" and celebration begin!

A Brand New Ugly Look!
Less than five minutes after publishing the previous post, my blog was deleted by Blogger/Google again.
Again, I had to go through the whole "beg to be restored" nonsense, until I got it back again today. Blogger officials still flat-out refuse to tell me what is triggering the auto-deletion "robots" they ridiculously employ, but several volunteers on their message boards agreed with what I'd diagnosed all along: it was something in my whiz-bang custom template that caused the "protecting" (LOL!) robots that look for malicious spam scripts to remove me. Thus, regretfully, I have been forced to remove ALL custom template work from my blog for now. I may reinstate some of it (some things are now "broken" here - due to removing so much of the "guts" of the site) since I can't fathom how countless other blogs use things like LinkWithin just fine, and I can't seem to.
Apologies for how crap my blog now looks... it's rather shameful compared to the work I put in to making it look nice and different before, but if the alternatives are "looking crap" or "getting deleted every month or more" I have to consider the former preferable.
Honestly, the one thing that's held me back from an alternative like WordPress is that I fell in love with how customizable Blogger's templates, look and interface was; simple to edit and could be highly customized to look awesome and be easier to use than the "defaults". Take that customization away... and alternative services seem much more viable.
*sigh* Blogging is supposed to be fun and not stressful, isn't it?
(Oh look, I'm now missing the old "dashboard" across the top of Blogger. That will add some extra frustration, eh?)

Update
A quick update:
A few weeks ago, various behind the scenes issues of running my blog were starting to get to me; even though mostly minor things, it was getting more stressful than enjoyable, more of a chore rather than "fun". At the same time, a very close friend's site disappeared overnight (wary of some very scary new laws in a country I'm happy not to live in!), and then when Google shut me down yet again just after my last post (though only for a day, it meant going through the appeal process for the fourth time) was the last straw. 'Real life' and work had been pretty stressful too of late, and I felt I needed to take a week or so's break totally away from it all. Thus, I took myself off for a week's holiday.
However, I fell pretty ill about a week later, and haven't felt up to blogging or even being online much during that period. Without going into details, it was actually rather scary, especially since one's mind tends to convince you that the worst is to fear, but I'm pretty much on the mend now, and my fears of what might have been the problem seem not to have been the case, thankfully.
It has given me time to think about the future of my blog; I'm hoping that my time away will be case of absence making the heart fonder: that is, it will be more enjoyable for me to return to posting and chatting with readers.
I hope everyone's been well and safe in my absence, and continue to enjoy what I post here. Hopefully, you're all still out there! :)
Short version: I'm still alive, and regular service will now be resuming.
